Construction of the Rolls-Royce UltraFan® technology demonstrator – the world’s largest aircraft engine – is now complete and testing is underway.
The company said a major program milestone was achieved when the demonstration engine was moved from the manufacturing shop to Testbed 80 in Derby, England, where it was installed to begin testing.
