The agreement allows Yu-Hsin to add eFPGA integration to their extensive design services utilizing QuickLogic’s eFPGA IP technology.
Integrating QuickLogic’s eFPGA IP into Yu-Hsin-designed devices enables their customers to gain a number of key post-manufacturing flexibility benefits, including the ability to address competitive threats, pursue market adjacency, accommodate emerging standards, and add new functionality . Integrating eFPGA IP can extend the lifecycle of a device, allowing it to be changed after design and manufacture, which has the potential to significantly increase its revenue and profitability.
Yu-Hsin provides complete custom IC layout services, including analog and digital functions, IO and memory layout, place and route, command and technical file support, and ESD and latch-up inspection. Integrated functions include analog, RF/mmWave, PLL, DDR memory, SerDes, standard cells, power management and LDO, covering various process nodes down to 5nm.
