Lush Cosmetics opens permanent store in Reno after successful holiday pop-up

RENO, NV (KOLO) – Lush is back in Reno with a brand new brick and mortar store, which just opened this week at The Summit Reno. Following the success of Lush Cosmetics’ holiday pop-up store in 2021, the beauty brand is bringing its line of luxurious and ethical skincare, haircare and bath products to Reno.

Summit’s newest vendor, manager Joshua Watt, stopped by Morning Break to tell us how the 1,200-square-foot store was designed with product display in mind.

Customers can experience first-hand the benefits of Lush’s fresh, artisanal products in-store. Additionally, the store design showcases Lush’s revolutionary bath bomb invention through bright and colorful displays inspired by the ornate bath bomb wall at the Harajuku store in Tokyo, Japan. In support of Lush’s commitment to the environment and regenerative practices, the Lush Reno’s countertops will be made from 100% recycled post-industrial plastic.

Local artist Hannah Eddy hand-painted the new store’s welcome window. The company says they are excited to share Hannah’s take on the art of spreading kindness to her and the Reno community!

Lush Cosmetics is located inside The Summit (13945 S. Virginia St. #622, Reno). On Monday, December 1st, the doors opened to the public for the first time. 12.
