Fort Wayne, Ind. (WANE) – Local businesses Hanning and Bean Enterprises have pledged to match all donations up to $125,000 to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign through the end of the year.
That’s according to a media release from The Salvation Army, which called the donation a “dollar-for-dollar match”. Anyone can donate to the Red Kettle campaign until December. 31.
Currently, the Salvation Army has a target of $233,000 and a target of $81,720.
“Achieving our goals ensures The Salvation Army continues to serve the community year-round,” said Salvation Army Officer Kenyon Sivels. “With this game, we’re excited to see what happens.”
Anyone can drop a donation into the red jug on the go, or simply scan the QR code on the jug logo to make a cashless donation in the jug.
Additionally, donations may be made online at www.safortwayne.org or by placing donations at The Salvation Army, 2901 N Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
