LEHI, UT – Lendio, the nation’s leading marketplace for small business financing, will be attending Money 20/20, the premier event for the financial industry, in Las Vegas, October 23-26.
As part of the event, Lendio data scientist Abby Sleight will give a hands-on demo of the company’s latest software-as-a-service lending technology, Axis. Attendees of Monday’s demo will learn how this data science-driven software can improve processes, reduce risk and increase profitability in historically small-profit small business loans. The presentation on stage at MPulse is part of Lendio’s collaboration with NVIDIA.
“It’s intelligent SaaS,” said Sleight, whose presentation was held on the morning of Monday, October 24, in the Innovation District of the Expo Pavilion. “Behind the scenes, Axis combines business logic with machine learning to improve the profitability of small business loans. I focus my presentation on the details: how Axis analyzes bank transaction data and calculates cash flow, identifies loan recipients, determines risk Scoring and optimizing pricing.”
Happy Hour Tuesday night at The Venetian will provide invite-only event attendees the opportunity to network with Lendio leaders and get a glimpse of the company’s other work.
This will mark Lendio’s 10th year at Money 20/20 since the fintech leader opened in 2011. For Lendio co-founder and CEO Brock Blake, the opportunity to network with other members of the industry was invaluable.
“We are always excited to meet our partners and peers in the fintech industry at Money 20/20, and we leave each year with a list of new ideas from the ones we discuss there. But this year is even more exciting with the launch of Axis. People are excited,” said Blake, who plans to attend the event. “Its target team – small local and regional financial institutions that have had to restrict small business lending because they are not profitable – will be able to see how Axis can change their profit margins. We have been talking for a while about how Axis will become An extension of the lending team at a financial institution, but once you see it in action, the concept resonates.”
Attendees are invited to connect with Lendio at the event by using the Money20/20 mobile app to schedule meetings, product demo sessions on Monday mornings, or cocktail hours on Tuesday nights.
