A Jackson florist that had been in business for 21 years burned to the ground Friday night after an event. Banksy’s Florist on Flag Church Road burned down after a reception was held at the location. “Watching my dad, watching his hard-earned business disappear, there’s a fire, it’s loud, there’s a fire station across the street,” said Timekia Ford, the owner’s daughter. The daughters say their father has been a pillar of the community, providing free flowers for funerals and hosting weekly Bible studies. The owners say they are determined to stay in business.
