Helix Electric encourages local businesses to give back to the community

RENO, Nevada (KOLO) – When it comes to supporting the community, Helix Electric knows how to go big or go home. During the holiday season, the power company supports many organizations across the state, often with record-setting donations.

Last Christmas, Helix Electric set a record by donating more than 70 bicycles to disadvantaged children to Toys for Tots. Back in November, Helix donated 75 turkeys to the Salvation Army’s Turkey Drop campaign. They also delivered Thanksgiving turkeys, hams and gift baskets to five families in need in Step 2.

Reno Vice President of Operations Cody Kinnison came to Morning to share their stories and encourage other local businesses to do what they can to give back to the community this holiday season.
