Hello AJ Readers!
First of all, happy holidays to everyone. I hope you stay safe, happy and having fun.
Another eventful year. We see businesses come and go, stories of hope, hints of better things to come. Lubbock is set to have a boom in business in 2023, and I’m honored to help our readers tell these stories to you.
Since this will be the last Around the Hub column for 2022, and business is cooling off in December, I thought I’d take the time to thank everyone who’s made my job easier.
Of course, I thank our readers for taking the time to read all of our coverage at AJ. Also, to the readers who gave me story ideas, thank you for making my job easier. And, to the readers who sent kind messages, you guys really made my day. Knowing that our reporting makes a difference and is appreciated means a lot to any journalist, myself included.
Another group I must thank is my sources – Cathy Potter of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, South Plains Workforce Solutions, Kim Davis of NoMiss Communication, and countless others who helped guide me in writing the best stories of the year. Getting this story would have been much harder without you.
Finally, thanks to every business I’ve spoken to this year. Hope to cooperate with you again in the new year and bring you good news.
As always, thanks for reading and supporting AJ.
