The U.S. General Services Administration has created a technology law unit that will provide legal support to the agency’s technology-focused divisions.
The GSA said Thursday that the new unit within the Office of the General Counsel is part of its plan to simplify, modernize and digitize client service.
The department is looking to fill a variety of roles, including deputy general counsel for technology law and assistant general counsel.
“The Deputy General Counsel for Technology Law will work closely with top leaders across the agency to provide advice and counsel in the developing but critical area of public law,” explained Arpit Garg, GSA General Counsel. “Assistant General Counsel Will provide direct support to our technology-focused department – an excellent opportunity to add more junior lawyers to our growing team.”
