• The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce honored several of its volunteers at its annual holiday dinner in December. The Brent Hall Award goes to TJ Wendt, the Volunteer of the Year Award goes to Charles Lapp, and the Energizer Bunny Award goes to Susan Taylor.

• Eureka-based E&S Ranch received a $250,000 Value-Added Producer Grant from the US Department of Rural Development to assist processing to increase production and support growing demand for its products in Montana’s Flathead Valley. E&S is a direct-to-consumer grass-fed and grass-fed beef business.
