The blaze was ruled arson, but so far there are no suspects. The ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — While Olympia detectives and federal investigators have spent a year trying to find who started a destructive downtown fire, Audrey Henry has moved on.
The Revival Motors and Coffee Company, which she co-founded with her husband Jimmi Davies in early 2020, was one of several businesses destroyed on Dec. 12. Fire on 15th of 2021.
A five-story apartment complex under construction, an auto repair shop, offices and a family’s apartment unit were also destroyed by the fire.
Investigators determined the fire was deliberately set. Olympia police released a series of surveillance images showing the suspect, but a department spokesman said no suspect had been identified.
Henry’s company serves coffee and provides motorcycle repair services.
In August, the couple moved into a smaller coffee shop at 412 4th Avenue East.
“It’s about 280 square feet. It’s very comfortable,” says Davis.
Henley was awarded a $100,000 grant to renovate a larger location, the former location of Howard’s Prestige Cleaners on Union Avenue in Olympia.
She wants to give customers the same options as where they used to be: coffee, food, motorcycle jobs and places to hang out.
“We wanted people to immerse themselves in the experience of watching a motorcycle being built and have another living room environment,” Henry said.
Damages are estimated to be between $5 million and $7 million. The Authority on Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
