REPORTER: In the DENNYS restaurant on SAN PABLO Blvd. Employees told me that if an earthquake happened, they would hear and see the damage happen. Fortunately, no one was injured. >> So don’t you kind of like waiting around to see if anything else is going to happen? Reporter: People in this neighborhood lived right above the epicenter of the earthquake. >> I feel a strong vibration down below. Reporter: Local first responders have not reported any serious damage or injuries. A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck the San Francisco Bay Area early Saturday morning. The quake struck at around 3:39 a.m. and was centered less than a mile northeast of El Cerrito at a depth of 3.6 miles, according to the US Geological Survey. There were reports of weak or mild shaking in the area, according to USGS maps.
